ATDI has added another country to the worldwide network of spectrum regulators who rely on the company for essential support in managing radio resources.
Niger is the latest nation to come on board with its Regulatory Authority of Radiocommunications and Post now using ATDI software tools ICS Telecom and ICS Manager for spectrum planning and management.
The systems provide a database, spectrum engineering, digital cartography and a spectrum monitoring interface and handle technical and administrative tasks, frequency assignment, data migration and ITU coordination. They will be backed by training and consultancy from ATDI’s experienced team of engineers.
“Regulators across the world have shown their trust in us throughout our two decades in business,” comments ATDI technical director Nick Kirkman. “Considering the vitally important job they do, it is gratifying they depend on us to help them do it.
“Regulators we work with range from organisations in rich, mountainous countries like Norway to vast, forested ones like Brazil to developing, desert ones like Niger. Everything we have learned in each of them has added to our experience and knowledge and we will be bringing all of that to the benefit of the newest member of the family.”
