Cyprien has 20 years experience in radiocommunications, starting as a development engineer with MEL Communications responsible for the design of RF equipment for both civil and military users. He has worked for Thales in the USA and France where he was responsible for research into frequency hopping techniques to optimise spectrum occupancy of large scale deployments. He was also responsible for the design of active multi-coupler systems for co-siting of radiocommunications equipment on various military land-based platforms to minimise inter-system interference and for adaptive antennas in combat net radio systems. At ATDI, Cyprien is responsible for the day to day management of the company in addition to the specification, development and management of existing and new products. He provides expert support to many organisations, including spectrum regulators in the UK, Ireland and Norway. He is also responsible for the technical content and methodology for all ATDI consultancy projects. Educated at Bristol University, he holds a BEng in Electronics Engineering and is a Member of the Institution of Engineering & Technology.
In addition to a highly experienced team of radio engineers and support staff ATDI Ltd has a management team covering British Isles, Ireland and Scandinavia.

Nick’s 25 years in radiocommunications has encompassed extensive experience in the
specification of modelling methods for planning and spectrum management of fixed, mobile, broadcast, satellite, radio navigation and meteorological systems. Nick also manages projects to implement these services, as well as undertaking the real network planning and investigations. He provides direct support to both civil and military customers in addition to delivering targeted training for planning, modelling, measurement and spectrum management of combat net radio, communications electronic warfare, fixed links, TETRA and other mobile networks and sound and TV broadcast networks. A chartered engineer since 1994, Nick is a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology and has a BSc (Honours) in Telecommunications Systems Management & Design from East Anglia University, an HND in engineering and a TEC Diploma from Cable & Wireless College.

In more than 30 years of working in telecommunications, Peter has gained vast experience
of maintaining, installing and commissioning networks. After 13 years in the RAF maintaining airfield navigation aids, he operated a UHF radio network for Securicor then, during his time with ATDI, has completed numerous network designs for both TETRA and PMR systems. More recently he has been working with the UK’s Ministry of Defence, training its engineers and helping the ministry to make the most efficient use of its spectrum holdings. Peter is a specialist in devising new methods of modelling network scenarios with extensive knowledge of radio theory, propagation, modulation methods, causes of interference and antenna theory. A member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, he has a degree in natural science and a BSc from the Open University.

Allan’s career spans nearly three decades with the UK Armed Forces, serving at all field levels of military command as principal communications officer. Allan has experience in the design, deployment and management of a variety of mission critical information and communications systems. His responsibilities included deploying strategic voice and data links, digital trunk, tactical mobile and electro optical networks. He has also provided expert advice and consultancy on all HF/VHF/UHF/SHF radio and satellite communications, conducting site surveys and designing and delivering targeted training courses for other governmental departments. Allan is PRINCE2 trained and has designed networks and project managed teams in the installation and acceptance testing of various radio communications systems. He has also been accountable for their budgets.
At ATDI Allan is responsible for business development, engineering support and consultancy in Scandinavia as well as being ATDI’s direct liaison officer for the British armed forces. Allan speaks English and business Norwegian.

Philippe Missud was a co-founder when ATDI was set up in Paris in 1991. In his capacity as president of ATDI worldwide and chairman of ATDI Ltd, Philippe provides support and guidance to the group supported by 20 years experience in the radiocommunications business.

Jean-Paul Chaib, Vice-President of Strategy and Operations at ATDI, has 15 years of
experience in radio communications, starting his career in R&D at Nortel Networks in Canada where he was a Senior Radio Architect in the microwave department. In 2003, he joined ATDI to spearhead business development in new markets, including Africa and Asia. Since 2011, he has been leading strategy and operations at ATDI, bringing together project management across the various ATDI offices. Jean-Paul is passionate about the application of technology to new business models. He has been involved with several ventures, from bio-cosmetics to video over IP. He holds B.Eng and M.Eng degrees from McGill University in Canada, and an MBA from INSEAD business school in France.
