The software that is defining the airwaves from the arctic circle to the Mediterranean has reached a double-figure milestone.
ATDI’s planning and modelling tool ICS Basic is now available in version 10. “This represents improved functionality, interface, and the best-ever accuracy.” says company managing director Cyprien de Cosson.
ICS Basic, baby sister to ATDI’s flagship planning and modelling tool ICS Telecom, has been in continuous development for 15 years, and Cyprien comments: “Version 10 incorporates everything we have learned in that time from customer feedback, technology adaptations and, indeed, the changing marketplace.”
ICS Basic is used by a range of organisations who expect the highest standards from their planning tools. In the broadcasting industry, the software is trusted by companies in the UK and across the World to support radio planning. The tool is also relied upon by TETRA network operators and public utility companies to create and operate their radio services.
“The variety of organisations that use ICS Basic is very gratifying,” Cyprien comments. “It’s testimony to both the accuracy and adaptability of the tool. And this is just the beginning – the development and improvement of ICS Basic will never stop.”
