ATDI’s contribution to the world’s radio communications has been recognized by the International Telecommunication Union.
The organization honored ATDI for the company’s “long-time participation and support to ITU Telecom World events” with a certificate of appreciation presented at ITU Telecom World 2017 at Busan, Korea.
“ATDI greatly values being part of the ITU community,” says Jin Hwang, managing director of ATDI Australia. “It is very gratifying to know the community values us, too.
“Our relationship with the ITU is as long as this century and has covered the most incredible change in the radiocommunications industry. It has been a fascinating journey together and we look forward to many more exciting years to come.”
In addition to ATDI’s participation in ITU World, the company also has a long-standing involvement in ITU study groups. Specifically, Dr Haim Mazar, Spectrum Management expert at ATDI and Vice Chair ITU-Radio SG5 (terrestrial services), has worked on study groups and working parties dealing with spectrum management, propagation, satellites, terrestrial services and broadcasting.
The certificate of appreciation was presented by ITU secretary-general Houlin Zhao to ATDI Jin Hwang.
