UK MOD picks ATDI consortium for spectrum shakeup

ATDI is to be part of a radical shake-up of the UK’s radio spectrum resource.

The Ministry of Defence (MOD), the owner of the country’s largest spectrum holding outside that held by Ofcom, is mounting an audit of its resources as a prelude to a re-assessment of how the spectrum can better contribute to the UK economy. On May 30, the MOD announced that ATDI will be a central part of the consortium which will assess and evaluate exactly what the MOD owns.

Partnering for success

ATDI and mpirical are joining forces to provide WiMAX training.

A partnership between ATDI and mpirical, a global provider of telecom training, is seeing ATDI provide its flagship planning and modelling tool ICS Telecom for use on WiMAX system engineering and WiMAX planning courses.

ATDI RELEASE ICS TELECOM V.8.8.7

An 11-year programme of development has resulted in the latest version of Europe’s leading radio planning and modelling software.

ICS Telecom v.8.8.7, which will be launched to an audience of professionals next month, is the flagship software tool from ATDI Ltd. ICS Telecom, which is in use with a gamut of commercial and governmental partners across Europe, has been in continuous development since ATDI’s inception in 1996.

ATDI Introduces: ATDI Online Enhanced - Stage II

The second stage in the evolution of radio planning and modelling tools is complete. 

Services which have traditionally been delivered through desk top PC applications are now available instantly through ATDI Online at www.atdi.co.uk. From this week, these services now have the benefit of the accuracy and clarity of the best maps in Britain.
