During
the sales phase, customers need to be able to discuss their needs with
knowledgeable sales staff and with a knowledgeable organisation. They want to
be educated in areas in which they may not be expert and they need to have the
security that the sales staff they deal with will not take advantage of gaps in
their knowledge. They need to impress on the prospective vendor their key
values and key areas of performance.
At ATDI we take great pride in our willingness to work with
customers to develop their needs. We spend time assisting in the development of
processes within the customer organisation to illustrate the complete customer
project - even where such systems may not use ATDI products or services. We
take the view that the best form of selling is consultancy itself advising the
customer and enlighten him. He can then see clearly where ATDI might fit in his
various projects.
ATDI sales staff are themselves engineers with extensive experience
in radio communications. They understand radio and they understand projects and
project management. In support these sales staff can call on any colleague in
the ATDI worldwide organisation for specialist skills at any stage in the
selling activity. Colleagues in support have run companies, installed
communications systems worldwide, bought multi-million pound equipments,
managed people in R&D, engineering, marketing, finance, HR and other
functions across enterprises large and small. Colleagues in support are
specialists in software engineering, radio consultancy, topographic data
creation, electronic warfare, trunked mobile radio, microwave backhaul, spread
spectrum mobile systems and most other technologies and functions.
ATDI customers benefit from a no-commitment visit and subsequent
in-depth discussions. Proposals prepared are then based on real customer needs.
These proposals will be explicit outlining what work ATDI will complete and
what products ATDI will supply. They will aim to detail pricing such that both
parties understand exactly what commitment is being made. Our aim is that our
customers are completely satisfied with our pre-sales support forming a perfect
basis for contractual relations.
