TV white space is available spectrum left unused by primary users such as DTT and PMSE broadcasters. TVWS users transmit at power levels which do not cause interference to primary users, with devices being allocated different availability dependent on their location, antenna height and out-of-channel emissions masks.
This webinar puts white space under the microscope, beginning with the theory behind it to viewpoints from both an operators and a regulators perspective. The presenter will explain how white space systems operate and the background behind calculations in ATDI software for broadcast and other networks.*
This event is by invitation only and is targeted at radio engineers. Demonstrations using ATDI’s radio planning tool ICS telecom will be incorporated.
