Current vacancy:

ATDI are recruiting a software developer. Initial contract for six-months with potential to extend. Role to start with immediate effect.

Role Overview:
ATDI provides software solutions for the radiocommunications industry. They are looking for an experienced software developer to join a well-established team to help develop the software product portfolio. Initial contract for six-months with potential to extend. Role to start with immediate effect.

Tasks:

  • Reviewing current software architecture
  • Producing detailed specifications and translating into software code
  • Testing the product in a pre-production environment to confirm acceptance before going live
  • Preparation of system user documentation
  • Potential to extend contract to support and maintain software once up and running

Skills:
Knowledge of programming skills (essential).
Comfortable with web-based languages, as well as traditional applications like Java and Visual Basic.

Additional skills:

  • Advanced understanding of maths
  • Knowledge of current computer hardware and software
  • Experience in multiple development languages including C++, PHP, HTML
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to work in a team of radio engineers
  • Eye for detail and identifying problems
  • Analytical and commercial experience
  • Understanding of radiocommunications networks (desirable)
