We’re recruiting a Lead Engineer to support UK and Irish markets, the job specification is outlined below. Based near Gatwick Airport, the position comes with an attractive benefits package, flexible working plus an opportunity to work alongside a dynamic team of engineers and customers across the radiocommunications industry.

To win and deliver radiocommunications solutions and consulting contracts. Responsible for delivering £300K of business per annum, across all customer segments in UK and Ireland and working with new and existing customers.


  • Undertake software and consultancy projects
  • Provide support for sales and business development activities
  • Project manage, as required
  • Support technical helpdesk
  • Install and support projects/software deliveries
  • Provide end-user training

Job characteristics:

  • Degree in electrical science (or equivalent) and industry experience
  • Chartered Engineer or equivalent
  • Proven ability to deliver consulting and/or computer based solutions
  • 5+ years’ experience in planning and/or modelling radiocommunications systems
  • 3+ years’ experience in solution architecture and/or consulting
  • Ability to obtain SC
  • Driving licence


  • Good understanding of radiocommunications industry
  • Strong spoken English and excellent writing skills
  • Able to build customer relationships and close contracts
  • Develop different methods and approaches to consultancy projects
  • Strong understanding of radio propagation
  • Able to work as part as a team or alone
  • Strong understanding of radiocommunications market
  • Critically review technical submissions as part of QA.
