ATDI introduces a new automatic tuning model in ATDI’s radio planning tools ICS telecom, ICS designer, ICS LT and HTZ warfare.
This tuning model is available in the latest releases of the tools and offers:
– Additional tuning options
– Improved computing times
– Coverage and point to point optimization engines.
Users can select the best subpath propagation model from various options/methods including Standard, Coarse, Fine, Area and MD91. From this chosen measurement file, simulation results using different subpath models can be compared in terms of average error and correlation rates.
Automatic tuning of clutter properties, such as the clutter height and the clutter attenuations (flat in dB and linear in dB/km), are also available. From the correlation results (average error and correlation rates) the user can compare input measurements and simulations using different clutter parameters; this feature will automatically tune the selected parameters to reach the best correlation results.
